Solid & Engineered Hardwood
Nail-down or glue-down planks in oak, maple, hickory, and walnut. Sanded and finished, or pre-finished to the room.

Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)
Waterproof, click-lock or glue-down planks. Built for kitchens, baths, basements, and homes with pets and kids.

Laminate
Click-lock wood-look planks at a friendly price. Durable wear layer and a tight, clean seam.

Baseboard Installation
Separate from floor installation. Per linear foot, labor only — you provide the baseboard.
Paint-grade MDF, 3-1/4 inch profile. Cut, nailed, and caulked.
Primed MDF or poplar, 4-1/4 to 5-1/4 inch profile. Coped inside corners.
Hardwood or pre-finished, 5-1/4 inch+ profile. Coped and scribed to fit.

Why the details matter — the physics underfoot.
Moisture & Subfloor
Wood planks expand with humidity. We test every subfloor — concrete must read below 14% moisture, wood below 12%, or the floor cups and buckles within the season.
Acclimation
Solid hardwood rests 48 to 72 hours in-room to reach equilibrium moisture content. Skip this step and gaps and peaks appear within the year.
Expansion Gap
A 1/4-inch gap at every perimeter wall lets the floor breathe with the seasons. Without it, planks press against the wall and lift.
Underlayment
A foam or cork layer under floating floors absorbs minor subfloor unevenness, dampens footstep sound, and acts as a vapor barrier against ground moisture.
Install Process
Subfloor Prep
Level, clean, and dry. We patch, flatten, and check moisture before a single plank goes down.
Acclimate
Solid hardwood and laminate rest in the room to reach equilibrium before install — no buckling later.
Lay & Stagger
Planks run the length of the room with staggered seams, tight gaps, and a consistent reveal.
Trim & Transition
Transition strips at doorways — finished clean and flush. Baseboard priced separately below.
